My like / don’t like list today

Like:

  • ZeFrank. The Vlog is not new, but it was new to me, and I can’t stop laughing.
  • Qype [de]. I have become a heavy user quickly. They have a genuine idea, no copycat alarm here. And they just got started. Over on my personal blog, you can now see the places that I reviewed in Qype in the sidebar.
  • ViewSonic’s ViewDock Display. Could perfetly replace my TV. Well, I’d need a Video iPod as well then.

Don’t like:

  • German Facebook clone StudiVZ still struggles with performance and reliability issues, and because their founder seems to be socially disabled, now they communicate all buttoned up and corporate-ish. It’s a shame: Now not only are they a company without own ideas, they also lost the fun. Let’s see how long their users stay happy.
  • LinkedIn. Maybe I am too German for that. Or too used to openBC / XING. But they impose too many rules on me and make my life way too difficult to start having fun and participating there. Them being profitable shows that I am wrong. Or no one has noticed yet ;)

that Zooomr-thing

What can I say - I have wanted to use the generous offer to get a Pro-Zooomr-Account for free as a blogger a long time, but somehow didn’t come around to it. So there we go now: It is required to post a pic from zooomr on my blog, so I’ll please you with a pic of the people I had the pleasure studying with in Mexico City at IPADE last year. Great folks!

Now let’s see how this Zooomr-thing works out. I’ve been a proud and active user of flickr so far (you see, we are deep in -(e)r-name-territory), but I’m willing to give this a serious try.
