arguments zero, unless they made sense
we laid it all open, we were in the mood
to replay all games, attack and defense.
that moment you told me that I was in debt
and all my accounts unbalanced in red
we realized something we always had kept
had not even whispered in our love’s bed:
the knowledge that loveletters, kisses and gifts
count all and count nothing the very same time
that we are depending on each others myths
and pay for unwrapping a terrible fine.
we closed the accounts, we set them all back
we hid some small secrets along our way
